She realized in concrete her most numerous sculptural ensemble to date - a group of 83 figures, entitled Bambini (Italian for Children). Conceived as an installation for Les Jardins du Palais Royal in Paris, Bambini is one of the earliest multiform ensembles that Magdalena Abakanowicz has created since the mid-1970s.
